El grupo de Termodinámica y Computación Cuántica les invita al siguiente seminario Fecha: Viernes 26 de Abril Hora: 11:00 am Lugar: Laboratorio de Fïsica Computacional, Dept de Electromagnetismo y Física de al Materia, Planta Baja, Facultad de Ciencias (junto al péndulo gigante) Ponente: Giulio Camillo (Universidad de Granada) Titulo: An overview of quantum contextuality and some related topics Resumen: Contextuality can be seen as a purely non-classical phenomenon in physical systems, its quantum realizations being of special interest. We have been presencing an ongrowing attention to it in the recent years, from a proper experimental verification that led to a Nobel Prize to its roles on the foundational aspects of quantum theory and on the exploration of quantum versions of communication and computation schemes. In this seminar I am going to give an introduction to the phenomenon, in the traditional approach, and talk about its characterization and some of the associated challenges and applications, as well as connections to other areas, including quantum computing. Nos vemos a todos allí DJM ________________________________________________________________________________ Dear all The Quantum Thermodynamics and Computation group cordially invites you to the following seminar Date: Friday 26 of Arpil Time: 11:00 am Location: Computational Physics Laboratory, Department of Electromagnetism and Condensed Mater, Ground Floor, Faculty of Science (next to the giant pendulum) Speaker: Giulio Camillo (Universidad de Granada) Title: An overview of quantum contextuality and some related topics Abstract: Contextuality can be seen as a purely non-classical phenomenon in physical systems, its quantum realizations being of special interest. The seminar is (is not) accessible to undergraduate students, whom we strongly encourage to attend. For those of you unable to attend the seminar, we have set-up the following google meet link for the upcoming seminar. meet.google.com/pfu-awyh-hmz We would also like to bring to your attention the groups seminar page https://ic1.ugr.es/eventos/wp/qjc/ where you can find relevant material and information about past, present, and future seminars. See you all there DJM. --------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Michalis Skotiniotis Grupo de Termodinámica y Información Cuántica.
