Seminar Series: Excited State Quantum Phase Transitions and related topics

Starting in March 2021, The University of Huelva is organizing a series of online seminars about Excited State Quantum Phase Transitions and related topics. The seminars will have a duration of 50-60 minutes plus questions. The aim of this series of talks is to keep the community working in ESQPTs and related topics in touch and aware of the research advances in the different groups working in the field. Among other, talks are expected to deal with developments including: • Experimental evidences of ESQPTs in different quantum many-body systems • Influence of ESQPTs on the dynamics of quantum many-body systems • Thermodynamic consequences of ESQPTs • Possible links between ESQPTs and manifestations of chaos in quantum systems • ESQPTs and quantum information scrambling • Role of ESQPTs in ergodicity and thermalization in many-body quantum systems Talks will be given by senior researchers as well as students and postdocs. Seminars are organized by José Enrique García Ramos and Curro Pérez Bernal in the CEAFMC, University of Huelva. Feel free to reach us out by email with any comments and suggestions.
