Postdoc call Sep 25 | Exchange program with Portuguese centers

Dear all, There is this postdoctoral call closing Sep 25. It works as a small "Marie Curie", but it is a Portugal-Spain exchange program for postdocs to get 3 year research contracts. We met yesterday, he is very good and seems interested in this program. Context And Mission At Quantic group, we develop quantum computational techniques, software and algorithmic solutions that require quantum computers or quantum emulators. We exploit all the scientific tools at our disposal including HPC, real quantum computers, and AI techniques. We currently host a digital superconducting circuits-based quantum computer, and we are in the process of installing a quantum annealer, both on-site and both integrated with our supercomputer MareNostrum5. Therefore, one of our research lines focuses on quantum-HPC integration and its applications. We aim to start a new research project that focuses on the development of computational techniques that exploit quantum annealers or adiabatic quantum computers. We are part of a big collaboration with other European supercomputing centers to search for synergies and applications of different types of quantum computers and supercomputers.
