Ofertamos un empleo dentro del programa de Garantía Juvenil del Plan Andaluz 2020. 12 meses prorrogables por otros 12 Plazo de presentación Del 20 de noviembre al 14 de diciembre Titulación requerida Titulado Universitario en Física / Titulado Universitario en Ingeniería Informábtica Tareas a realizar 1. Programación en C y/o Fortran de los principales algoritmos científicos que usan los investigadores en su trabajo teniendo en cuenta la arquitectura concreta del superordenador PROTEUS del iC1. 2. Ayuda a los investigadores en el desarrollo de sus programas científicos. 3. Puesta al día de la web, moderación de la lista de distribución, etc. 4. Promoción de los servicios informáticos disponibles 5. Divulgación científica de la investigación que se hace en el Instituto. 6. Apoyo técnico en la organización y desarrollo de congresos y seminarios del iC1. 7. The successful PhD candidate will embark on a thrilling journey to contribute to the *CRC183 “Entangled States of Matter”* [4] in some of the following directions: * Tensor-Network exploration of entanglement structures in strongly-correlated systems, including classical-to-quantum crossovers and the presence of highly (quasi-)degenerate ground and low-energy spaces; * Development of a TN description of fractional topological modes; * Use of non-planar TN structures and/or non-local mode encodings to faithfully treat mesoscopic systems as the ones amenable to be realized in the lab with synthetic quantum matter; * Tailoring of TN algorithms for realistic situations and actual quantum materials, beyond paradigmatic models, including the implementation of approaches that deliver faithful estimates and error control.
