Prague, Czech Republic, 18 – 24 July 2021
Dear colleague, Dear Daniel Manzano Diosdado,
I am writing you regarding the FQMT’21 conference which will be held in Prague from 18 July to 24 July 2021. One of the reasons for such an early information is to enable potential conference participants to include the conference into their plans in time. The title of the conference follows tradition: its meaning corresponds only partly to the topics of actual FQMT conferences. The FQMT’21 conference will be mainly focused on Non-equilibrium phenomena, Light-matter interactions, Quantum statistical physics, Foundations of quantum physics, and Quantum optics. Systems considered will be mostly mesoscopic and biological systems, cold atoms and molecules. Subjects from astrophysics, gravitation and cosmology related to the above topics will also be included.
Please note that the scientific committee wants to create a program in which the talks are presented only by invited speakers who are highly regarded scientists. The scientific committee will invite the speakers in the following months.
Non-invited contributions will be presented at poster session(s). At previous FQMT conferences, the poster sessions had a large number of contributions (~100) and were always highly appreciated by conference participants. In very exceptional cases the scientific committee can consider an upgrade of some poster contributions to talks based on suggestions of the already invited speakers.
You can find more details regarding the scope and the topics can be found at the official www pages of the conference:
At these www pages you can also find the lists of committees, and other relevant scientific details. You can also look at the history of the FQMT conferences and you can find www pages of the previous FQMT conferences at the following address: https://fqmt.fzu.cz/
In the attached PDF files you will find the overview information on FQMT series and upcoming FQMT’21 conference.
IMPORTANT: We send you this e-mail because your data are recorded in our conference database. If you wish to receive the FQMT’21 updates, please sign-up the at the conference www pages (this is an easy and not time-consuming task):
https://fqmt.fzu.cz/21/index.php?active=reg.
Please: 1. Login at the above page preferably with the e-mail you used in your previous FQMT registration. In such a case your registration data from the previous FQMT conference will be prefilled. 2. Check and possibly modify the data stored in your record. 3. Express your intentions regarding your participations at the FQMT’21
We would also like to ask you to inform your colleagues and students about the conference and its www pages. You can also forward them the attached overall information about the FQMT conferences.
Your colleagues and students are very much welcomed and encouraged to come to the FQMT’21 conference to present their research during poster session(s) and discussions. We would like to ask you to encourage them to sign-up at the www pages of the conference as soon as possible, so they can receive conference updates.
With very kind regards,
In the name of organizing committee
