Subject: [infoconfe] SEMINAR de Grupo de Termodinámica y Computación Cuántica---Daniel Manzano II Date: 13. October 2023 at 10:40:32 CEST To: materia-seminarios@onsager.ugr.es, materia@onsager.ugr.es, infoconfe@listas.ugr.es El grupo de Termodinámica y Computación Cuántica les invita al siguiente seminario
Fecha: Jueves 19-10-2023
Titulo: An introduction to the Lindblad Master Equation I. Derivation from microscopic principles (segunda parte)
Resumen: The theory of open quantum system is one of the most essential tools for the development of quantum technologies. Furthermore, the Lindblad (or Gorini-Kossakowski-Sudarshan-Lindblad) Master Equation plays a key role as it is the most general generator of Markovian dynamics in quantum systems. In this presentation, we present this equation together with its derivation from microscopic principles. The presentation tries to be as self-contained and straightforward as possible to be useful to readers with no previous knowledge of this field. Undergrad, master, and PhD students are encouraged to assist.

Title: An introduction to the Lindblad Master Equation I. Derivation from microscopic principles (part two)
Abstract: The theory of open quantum system is one of the most essential tools for the development of quantum technologies.
The seminar is accessible to undergraduate students, whom we strongly encourage to attend. For those of you unable to attend the seminar, we have set-up the following google meet link for the upcoming seminar.

We would also like to bring to your attention the groups seminar page
https://ic1.ugr.es/eventos/wp/qjc/
where you can find relevant material and information about past present and future seminars. Bookmark this page as we intend on uploading video recordings of the seminars that you can access at any time. See you all there
